Dr. Whitney Paullin, MD is a board-certified pediatrician through the American Academy of Pediatrics. After completing pediatric residency at UCSF-Fresno Dr. Whitney entered the world of traditional pediatric medicine seeing 20-40 patients per day, while simultaneously managing sick kids in the urgent care setting and admitting patients directly to the hospital. One day, in an attempt to prove a holistic college wrong Dr. Whitney began doing research, amidst her research she discovered medicine is not as black and white as her training had taught her, she was unable prove her holistic college wrong. Dr. Whitney began investigating alternative medicine, the lost art of proper nutrition, ancient herbs, spiritual embodiment and various mechanisms of how to heal the body, through her studies Dr. Whitney discovered a deep passion for holistic medicine, adding natural tools to aid in supporting the human body to her tool box. Dr. Whitney went on to specialize in functional medicine through the Institute of functional medicine. Dr. Whitney continues expanding her naturopathic expertise including homeopathy, Chinese medicine and natural medicine.
